Bird Adoption

Budgie Sanctuary Rescue is based in Sydney, NSW. Our priority is finding a safe, suitable and permanent home for every bird. Birds must be collected by prior arrangement, and we are unable to organise interstate transport. The questionnaire helps us understand your experience, household, housing, care plans and the type of companion you are looking for.

Online application

Apply from your phone or computer

Complete the questions below and submit the application directly to the rescue. Required questions are marked. You can attach photographs at the end.

Before applying

Submitting a questionnaire does not guarantee adoption. Every application is considered according to the needs, personality and long-term welfare of the individual bird. We may also request photographs or video of the proposed cage, aviary and living area.
